  • RWM 2017: Expanding networks

This September, our bioresources managers attended the RWM exhibition at the NEC in Birmingham.

    GENeco RWM Conference

RWM is the industry’s leading conference combining the energy, water, recycling and waste sectors. It was attended by over 11,000 visitors and featured 450 exhibits, with a focus on providing multi-disciplinary solutions to resources and waste management.

Richard McCluskey, solid bioresources manager, said: “RWM provides a really useful platform to engage with industry leaders and get up to date with technical innovation in the field of waste and recycling.”.

Many leading industry voices took part in panel discussions to debate various hot topics across the sustainability sector. Topics of note included food waste, ways of improving data capture from waste collections, and low emission vehicles.

Francis Marsh, liquid bioresources manager, commented: “RWM is a great place for networking with current customers, as well as meeting a host of interesting new companies.”
