Hannah Swaffield

"Pressure on world's finite resources is an increasing challenge. At GENeco we want to be at the forefront of the waste industry in finding new and improved ways in which we recycle and recover energy from what others call waste."

As a bioresources graduate, Hannah has a very varied role. Her core responsibilities are to develop and maintain relationships with our customers and their accounts, ensuring they receive great service.  As well as her daily activities, Hannah is involved in supporting projects to find innovative new ways to meet the company's sustainability goals.

Hannah graduated from Cardiff University with a degree in Biology. Immediately after university, Hannah began a career as a secondary school teacher where she taught Biology and Environmental Science. Hannah's passion for the environment and desire to apply her scientific knowledge led her to change career and join GENeco.

Outside of work, Hannah is a keen runner. She has currently completed three half marathons and is now considering the prospect of entering her first full marathon. Hannah loves travelling and is always on the lookout for her next adventure.
